Saint Maximilian Kolbe Parish will host Forty Hours Devotion at Saint Casimir Church beginning on Friday, September 29th until Sunday, October 1st. For some of our younger Catholics, the Forty Hours Devotion and Eucharistic adoration may be new. Indeed, for some, the concept of making a commitment to spend time with Jesus present in the Blessed Sacrament may initially foreign and uncomfortable. To help, we are excited to offer two sessions of Adoration Education on Saturday, September 30th:
  • 9:30 a.m. - For younger students
  • 10 a.m. - For older students
In addition, Father has extended a special invitation to all high school students and their families to the Solemn Closing of Forty Hours on Sunday, October 1st starting at 4 p.m.
Encouraging young Catholics to develop a greater devotion to the Blessed Sacrament helps them to build a personal friendship with Christ and an understanding and appreciation of His real presence. This gives them an unshakable faith, more active participation at Mass, and a deeper desire to pray. We hope you will make time to join us, with your families, for our annual Forty Hours Devotion.
